Progression
The NEBOSH International General Certificate entitles you
to exemptions from Unit INGC1 of the NEBOSH Certificate
in Fire Safety and Risk Management and the NEBOSH Certificate
in Construction Safety and Health.
NEBOSH INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE’s
validity in Oman
In the Middle East (especially in Oman) there are many benefits
in obtaining NEBOSH International General Certificate. Firstly,
it provides career development to HSE practitioners. For
instance, existing HSE officers have the opportunity to
progress to HSE Advisor/ HSE manager position. Moreover,
for people with industy experience who aspire to become
HSE trainers, this certificate provides the perfect road
map. NEBOSH International General Certificate is recognized
by the Ministry of Manpower as a valid qualification for
HSE professionals. Besides, PDO requires this qualification
to be the minimum for trainer candidates to be approved
as an HSE instructor for delivering PDO HSE courses.
