Qualification, Experience and Other requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in respective specialization
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lab Technician/ Instructor
in a college/university after completing the Bachelor’s
Degree.
3. Experience in conducting practical classes for these subjects
is also essential.
4. Age not to exceed 55 years
5. Experience in guiding students preparing projects.
6. Degrees should be obtained via full-time or part time studies
and not by correspondence.
7. All qualifications must be within the targeted area of
specialization.
8. Industry experience will be an added advantage.

9. Date and year of completion for all degrees should be
clearly mentioned in the CV.
10. Experience dates (period) to be clearly mentioned in the
CV.
*Bachelor's degree
should be in Computer Science , posssesing any certification
will be an added advantage.
The Role:
1. To assist students in handling the practical classes.
2. Maintain equipment and machines in the laboratory/workshop.
3. To assist Lecturers in preparing course materials.

The organisation structure in Ministry of Manpower colleges
is flat. For a department they have a HOD, Head of Section,
Lecturers and Technicians only, the designations like Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor & Professor are not available
with them.
